The easiest way to install Color Cop is to download the self-installing version. If you use the installer it's easy to remove the application by using add/remove programs under Windows.
Color Seizer is a free color picker tool. To find ideal color for programmers and web masters is a difficult process. You can grab any color of your screen with the help of it and get the RGB, HTML, C, Delphi, HSL, and Visual basic code value of the grabbed color. Pixie is a utility made especially for webmasters and designers. It is a color picker with few extra goodies. Run it, simply point to a color and it will tell you the hex, RGB, HTML, CMYK and HSV values of that color. You can then use these values to reproduce the selected color in your favorite programs.
Standalone 5.4.6 BETAbeta.zipI have a new version here, but I'd like to have a few people BETA test it before I release it. If you have time, please try it and let me know if you think it works as expected.
As an alternative, you can download the stand alone version, which will need to be unzipped.

Picking up colors on the screen is good. Being able to tint colors is better. The tinting tool helps you find the perfect tint to complete your palette.
Colorpicker currently has three levels of shades. They are based on HSL (hue, saturation, brightness). You will be able to create your own shade layers in future releases.
